What To Expect During Your Mold Assessment
Interview: The Mold Assessment Consultant will typically start by interviewing you to understand your concerns and any previous experiences with mold in your home or business. They will ask questions about the location, duration, and severity of any mold growth and any related health symptoms you or your family may be experiencing.
Visual Inspection: Next, the Mold Assessment Consultant will conduct a visual inspection of the property, looking for signs of mold growth, water damage, and moisture intrusion. They will check areas such as walls, ceilings, floors, windows, and HVAC systems to identify any potential sources of mold growth.
Testing: We take samples of air, surface, or bulk materials to test for the presence of mold. Air samples are collected using specialized equipment that captures airborne mold spores, while surface and bulk samples are taken by swabbing or cutting out small pieces of material.
Analysis: The samples are then sent to a laboratory for analysis, where they are cultured or examined under a microscope to determine the type and quantity of mold present. The inspector will review the lab results and use them to assess the level of mold contamination and any potential health risks associated with the mold.
Report: Finally, the Mold Assessment Consultant will provide a detailed report of their findings and recommendations for remediation, which may include cleaning and disinfecting affected areas, repairing leaks and water damage, and addressing any underlying moisture problems.
Overall, the Mold Assessment Consultant’s goal is to identify and address any potential mold problems in your home to ensure a safe and healthy living or working environment.

Warning Signs Of Mold
Mold spores are everywhere, all the time, whether we’re indoors or out. The problem arises when mold gets access to moisture and begins to multiply spores inside your home or business. The consequences of mold growth can be catastrophic to human health, including mold allergies, hypersensitivity reactions, and in rare cases severe illnesses such as fungal pneumonia. In people who are immunocompromised, these health effects may be more pronounced. (2023 References from The Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota).
We offer a comprehensive mold assessment, with laboratory analysis, and a NJ-licensed Mold Assessment Consultant report to remove sources of mold growth and keep families, workers, and customers healthy.
Here are some of the most prevalent causes of mold within indoor settings:
- Previous Water Damage
- Foundation Cracking
- Crawlspace Ventilation
- Construction Defect
- Leaking Pipes
- Poor Window Insulation
- Outdated Windows
- Roof Leak
- Attic Ventilation
- Appliance Failure
